Do I get a Nobel Prize for deducing that the famous Ezekiel vision was of an astolabe? The Antikythera. See link for the image. The four faces are the fixed signs, with their usual zodiacal meanings, and fixed points of reference on the device. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antikythera_mechanismwww.tertullian.org/fathers/john_philoponus_astrolabe_01_intro.htmAs Isaiah and Jeremiah, Ezekiel warned of the "last days" -- the future around his time (or even possibly yet to come now): 1. " I will bring you from the nations...I will execute judgment upon you." (Ezekiel 20:34-35). 2. "...'Wail...' For... the day of the Lord is near -- a day of clouds, a time of doom for the nations." (Ezekiel 30:2-3). 3. "...every creature that moves...all the people on the face of the earth will tremble...The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground...I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur..." (Ezekiel 38:20-22) Seems to me that an astolabe could predict with some degree of accuracy the danger periods for planet Earth. Maat

Royal Arch Masons, in particular please note:
When:
the Man (Aquarius) was the Winter Solstice the Bull (Taurus) was the Spring Equinox the Lion (Leo) was the Summer Solstice the Eagle (Scorpio) was the Autumn Equinox
it was 3995 B.C., commonly reckoned as 4000 B.C. which, added to the current year, gives us our Masonic date.

One must remember that the Bible is an Astro-Theological text.

One must remember that the Bible is an Astro-Theological text. Having not followed this particular thread, I still nominate this Quote of the Year. ;D
