Prometheus said, 'and I can spell 'dog' backwards and come to some equally erroneus conclusion'.
I, on the other hand, find it apt that the letters G O D contain the letters for man's fierce defender, protector and best friend.
I am going to stop reading your posts Prometheus, because I find them argumentative. I am going to focus on other posts, such as Maat's which I find insightful. I do wish you all the very best on your path and I sincerely hope you come to know your/our 'Local God' (in the words of Maat). About 'heavy' material you said, , 'I eat this stuff for breakfast', I hope you have as strong a stomach as you claim because if/when (and I hope it is 'when') you do learn the truth about God, many of your ideas will be turned inside out. Maat, I am not a mason (yet) nor have I ever been, but we appear to have much in common. I suppose one thing that prevents me from joining a lodge is the idea of starting at the bottom when I have already come so far with the intimate help of the ineffable Name. If I believed I could enter at the highest degree I would consider joining. I believe you do know me after all, and it would be an honour to get to know you. Was I expected?

Hello Maximus, I meant what I said, entirely. I know why Cathedrals exist and why they were designed as they are, including the chequered floors of 'Naves'. Have you noticed that the Vatican is designed in the shape of two horse's heads? I know why a Past Master is a Past Master. I know the ineffable Name. I am a Jew and I have learned all that I know directly from the Source. If you could walk through walls without being shown the way, would you need to be shown the way? I would find it pointless returning to the starting point of a journey when I have reached my destination. I am not being arrogant, I am being frank. How am I to be introduced to that which I already know? I know about the Jubilee and I imagine you also know. I know about the (literal) End of Days. I can't tell you who I am because I would not be believed. Those who do know who I am and what my purpose is have been alive for a thousand years or more. You should know it is not arrogance, but something else, for one to say: I learned the Name of Names from the Source. I said at the offset, I am not a mason, I may never be a mason, I am merely a friend in real-time. I do know that the past lives. I can't say more than that, I have said what I have in this post to reveal the source of my knowledge. I can't believe that the masons are unaware of my existence. If I am to meet with ridicule, I shall leave as quietly and politely as I came. I am not at all sure that freemasonry is where the Source wants me to be... I am looking for a door that opens when I knock. Truthfulness is not always arrogance. Not a fellow traveller, not a historian, but, however this Pans out, I remain your friend in real-time. Those who do know who I am and what my purpose is have been alive for a thousand years or more. In my experience cosmic tasks are almost always shared across a number of entities and/or a number of kingdoms. Human incarnations are particularly useful in this respect as human nature bridges several kingdoms and thereby can facilitate joint enterprises.

Paulh, the task assigned to me is performed by one entity at a time and applies to only one kingdom at a time. However, at least one close assistant is always provided and there are always willing volunteers. I have found volunteers squabble among themselves and hinder the work. They also suffocate one with their idea of praise in their efforts to be the 'favourite'. Even the close assistant (without whom the entity would be lonely) can be difficult. I keep the close assistant close for platonic companionship but I am single-minded about my work, I intend to succeed, and I prefer to work alone. Shiloh

spirit is 4 dimensional material.. when it resides in the 4th, time and space dont concern it.. the body could be seen as a 3 dimensional representation of the 4th while containing the 4d entity and being "alive" through it..
when discussing sleep, it usually doesnt take long till the subject dreaming appears.. during 1 of the stages of a sleeping cycle, aka the rem phase, brain activity increases, indicating that something is most definitely going on.. dreams can be quite vivid though completely imagined.. this kind of realism could point to something beyond mere fantasies entertained by the ego.. is it the subconscious randomly matching xperiences / emotions, its way of making sense of the world? is it a business meeting with the soul?

spirit is 4 dimensional material. A generation ago when I was studying the programming language we used allowed 7 dimensional matrices. I dare say spirit could beat that

maximus, which of the 5 r u referring to? although the theory of 6 tiny xtradimensional singularities that shape strings is most interesting, i dont think it "tops" the dimension where space and time dont matter (lol), usually aka 4D

can u xplain the 7 dimensional matrix? From a mathematical perspective any human difficulty in visualising dimensions is irrelevant. Mathematically there is no limit to the number of dimensions that can be manipulated - given a sufficiently summary form of notation. And if human mathematics can cope then I am sure Spirit can. But to make the matter a little clearer, imagine 100 parallel time paths each with a world (entities and events) of as many dimensions as can be conveniently visualised. This set of time path-worlds can be considered to constitute a single Creator strategy. How many dimensions are required to describe this Creator strategy? And surely this modest complexity cannot exhaust Spirit?

perhaps were xperiencing a conflict in terminology;
imagine a circle with a point in its center, the surface of the circle is divided into an (in theory) unlimited amount of sections, all toughing the center..
the point in the center represents the present.. a section a version of the universe.. the total picture represents 1 slice of the time line in that particular multiverse..
if we start moving in time, the circle becomes a cilinder, the point a line and the section merges with a corresponding section..
as ur aware, we alter section by the choices we make.. if certain choices would be made, we would find ourselves in a universe where on planet earth, things r just peachy.. for this to happen we of course have to first make those choices at the right slice of time in order to connect to the desired section..
in what i call the 4th dimension, u can enter the time line at any date.. needless to say your 3D form couldnt cope with being in the 4th dimension.. therefor i conclude this is where spirit resides.. if u take this 1 step further, the cilinder would become a sphere, the line a smaller sphere in its center and the sections would join up to unfold the paths the different sections take..
so if im not mistaken, your 100's of dimensions r contained within my 4th dimension?

How many time lines do you allow? Surely if there is more than one time line then that adds another dimension - in order to cover the choosing of time lines?

""How many time lines do you allow? Surely if there is more than one time line then that adds another dimension - in order to cover the choosing of time lines?"" every 4th would contain 1 time line.. additional lines would be merged in the center sphere in the 5th.. i dont see the need for additional time lines btw.. what analogy gave rise to its conception?

More an observation than an analogy
If you are satisfied that Spirit is 4D then you should stay with that

Spirit is the "unifying element" of material reality. Only Spirit can access all the levels of existence at once; I believe it could be referred to as "manas" or Universal Mind. Since it informs all the levels of material existence, and has its own being, besides, it is the "material" channel by which the Absolute influences all existence.

I believe it could be referred to as .....Universal Mind. I wonder if humanity were more active in the heart we might refer to Spirit as Universal Heart.

To me Spirit is our real self our body is just a covering on this earth. In a sense when you say what is spirit you are saying what is myself.

supposedly, everything is spirit and matter is its 3 dimensional representation.. far as im aware, the only form of matter that has the ability to recognize the spirit within, is human, but i could be gravely mistaken

We are the only beings with a rational consciousness.
