We are the only beings with a rational consciousness.
mmm, so what about alien lifeforms?

is their xistance not practicly guaranteed by the sheer number of stars in the universe?
can we then state it is very unlikely that "We are the only beings with a rational consciousness."?

We are the only beings with a rational consciousness. I am not entirely sure that is a rational statement. So perhaps there are no rational beings in existence

God breathed into humans his breath or his Spirit. When did God ever say all is Spirit, my flesh is evidence that all is not Spirit.

So perhaps there are no rational beings in existence Then that makes mgc's earlier statement irrational. Note he said "human beings," and not pink unicorns (flying around the North pole). A rational consciousness is implied by the fact that one recognises the "spirit within," which is the consciousness.

matter (your flesh) is not spirit.. it is the reflection of the spirit it contains.. the entire third dimension is a reflection of spirit (or god, if thats what u want to call it)..

So perhaps there are no rational beings in existence I would say that it is a rational statement. Is it correct? that may be open for debate. We have not been able to deeply decode wahle songs for an example. Sperm whales have been filmed in strange circular patterns underwater doing synched rythmic movements that seem to go in line with their songs. Perhaps this is some sort of group invocation? We simply don't know. Love and Light,

The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I think animals have a veriety of intelligent levels or maybe even some kind of soul. I believe that Spirit is what makes us different from the other creations because our spirit is made after the Creator, and in his image.

I don't have an absolute belief in a creator but I do have a reasonable acceptence that one exists. Love and Light,

I believe that Spirit is what makes us different from the other creations because our spirit is made after the Creator, and in his image. If God is pure spirit and omnipresent then we are not so different in a spiritual sense to anything that meets the eye. IMO the only difference is in the way spirit reveals itself, and it can only reveal itself according to the evolutionary status of who is differentiating. I and my Father are one... Jesus was most highly evolved. What you do unto other you do unto your yourselves... Bible Jesus said also, "What you do unto the least of these my brethren, you do unto me." Maat

I think that God is all Spirit and that he is omnipresent, I am very different from him although my goal is to be like him. To be like Jesus is the goal.

And Jesus is reputed to have said "I and My Father are One" I sometimes picture this as me being the point within the circle and knowing I need to grow to become the circumference. Maat

I need to grow to become the circumference. Are you being careful what you wish for? ;D

Give that the heart is most sensitive to Spirit for most humans, how is the heart (a physical and energy structure) actually sensitive to Spirit?
What is the mechanism whereby Spirit connects to that part of the body more intensely than other parts?
