Hello everyone! Just yesterday I was browsing e-bay and came across "First day covers". There are many types, I really dont know what they are. However, I won 25 masonic FDC's. I think I am going to collect them. If anyone has any or can tell me anything about this I am interested. I did see masonic stamp club of new york on a couple of the FDCs I could see. Thanks again, may all of you have a wonderful holiday season.

A "First Day Cover" is typically a commemorative stamp along with the envelope postmarked with the date on the "first day" that is was issued, usually in a specific town. They are considered to be collectible so apparently you're doing the right thing.

thank you. I googled FDCs and found many types. I am interested in the masonic FDCs. I came across a lot on e-bay i won 25 of them (masonic fdcs) from the estate of someone who passed away. I am going to save them and preserve some of our masonic history. One fdc I won was from Isreal so I am assuming other countries besides the US issued them. I know many of you live in various parts of the world and may see some covers I may never see. If they arent too much, I would be intersted in purchasing them. Thank you
