Masonic virtue includes equality for all humanity under the canopy of heaven. If you are going to espouse those beliefs it is about time we put them under practicle practice.
The only argument against intergration is "personal preference." I'm sorry, that isn't good enough. There are plenty out there who prefer a WASP only lodge, that would not be endorsed in public by anyone here and it shouldn't be. It's wrong.
Segregation is not in line with Masonic virtue. I'm sorry, it just isn't.
Love and Light,

At this juncture there are 3 types of lodges. Ending up with only 1 that offers no choice is not progress or enlightened thinking! The fact is it is the situation we now have is a case of supply and demand. That will not change and there is no need to interfere with the system because of some 'progressive' nonsense to justify changes. Those who advocate a single system are very much in the minority (they probably can be counted on one hand and all fit into a telephone box).

Those who advocate a single system are very much in the minority (they probably can be counted on one hand and all fit into a telephone box). I don't think of progression as nonsense. Quite the contrary. I think of status quo as stasis that at best will lead to some nasty bed soars. I realize that everything boils down to the majority for you. It doesn't for me. The majority of Freemasons are more concearned where their next hot dog will come from than the origin of thier rituals, the symbolism behind them and what ritual actually means. You can keep that majority. The "choice" argument really isn't a good one. I mean if someone wanted their "choice" to mean an anglo only lodge would that be OK? Why is that OK and intergration is such a turn off? Seems more like apologetic rationalism than a solid argument. Love and Light,
