I tend towards rather thin skin. Of course this only matters if I am really bothered by what the peanut gallery has to say. I don't no matter how much sulfer they are huffing. The internet and other types of communication are great, sadly they can't replace the real deal.

Yesterday, Twitter was host to an unusual Tyler's Toast, performed all over the UK.
The UGLE's comms office was the main initiator, although the main idea came from a provincial Grand Lodge.
It is very simple: at 9pm tweet a picture of yourself raising a glass with the hashtag TimeToToast. You can add any other message you want.
I think it is a good idea.

My Lodge had another 40 minute informal meeting yesterday at zoom.us/
We are intending a full LoI next month, but owing to zoom.us/'s time restrictions (c.45 mins), we might have it at jitsi.org/ which requires no downloads.
Personally, I think that one of these 2 platforms is the way ahead for LoIs: before each Lodge meeting we could have 4 or 5 Virtual LoIs, then one LoI in person.

We use zoom for discussions, not lodge meetings. Do talk someone into purchasing a zoom membership so you all arnt restricted to the 40 minutes that the free version has
