Hi everyone,
My name is Chris from Louisiana and I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I am currently in the process turning in my petition for the long awaited process. Many of my family members are Masons of another lodge about 30mins from my house. I wanted to join one closer and found that one of my friends is actually a member of that lodge. I am anxious for what is in store and what I have to learn. One thing that I did notice is how many people ARE actually masons! Until recently I found out that some of my friends are actually part of this fraternity. I hope to learn from and contribute to this forum as much as I can.
Regards,
Chris

Hi Chris and welcome to the forum. Well done for taking this very important first step along the road to discovering some really cool things and more importantly, some things about yourself. The journey is an amazing one, so enjoy! You are fortunate to having so many in your family involved already in the Craft, you will find the support of a family member to be quite special, in fact, all the support from now on will be special. Good luck to you and again, welcome!
