Yes, I belong to an all-male lodge. No, I do not see that as incongruous to the celebration of women's freedom. Leave that aside if you will, and celebrate with me women acheiving the right to vote 90 years ago, and acknowledge if you will that they ought to deserve equal pay for an equal job. So much has been done, and there is so much more to do. S&F Women's Equity Day

Substitute leaves for aprons ... The woman's got the better leaf in the picture, Br. More coverage and protection from the sun. From a practical and rational standpoint without any other qualifiers, it is a superior garment to the male's. We are supposed to assume by prejudging that the individual with the bard is a man. Unconvincing to my mind. ;,) What do you have against women's equality? I celebrate it myself. It is best to work toward improved legislation in the area of women's rights, and not have these little straw men whine over nothing.

I know you'll like moving out of the stone age, the modern age serves me so much better.

... the modern age serves me so much better. ..glad to be of service. When it is confirmed you have ever provided me such a service, I will graciously thank you brah. If you provide me your name and mailing address, and you can expect a card when confirmation of service is rendered. So far, all you've offered is something from the B.C. era. ;D

Merely pointing out that paternalism is dead in our modern day society. Lions and Rotary both recognised this over a quarter of a century ago. They are the richer for it.
I do not want to join your male only lodge... what I object to is that whatever lodge I join will NOT be recognised merely because there is a women in it.
Sexual discrimination - whatever way you want to look at it!
Time to put on the apron and do some work to make 'meeting on the level' a reality.

“Leave that aside if you will” …. Why? Because it's irrelevant to my of support in the laws of this country and individual human rights and dignity of men, women, and all else around the world. It's about as relevant as the fact I use the men's room. No harm, no foul. “I meet on the level” …. but only with men. Untrue, and I call you to offer documentation. In fact, I can show where I've placed women on a HIGHER level than myself and have treated women better than I have ever, EVER treated a man, but that's none of your business. ;D “I know you'll like moving out of the Stone Age” … the stone (stoning) age does still exist for a lot of women …. !!! Yes, and I do not support it in any way and work against it. I disagree with your support of it if you do. “..and you can expect a card when confirmation of service is rendered”…. Merely pointing out that paternalism is dead. Send the card to all those that serve you well. I'll send you a card if you serve me well. I don't expect to send any, as so far you've failed. Time for youto move out of B.C. ideals and get with modern times, brah. ;D

My lodge does accept qualified petitioners who happen to be female. That is not because of some misunderstanding about the laws of the land. It is because our lodge decided to do so.
Sorry that some lodge that you join won't be recognized by a lodge in which KNOs1s is a member. Should that matter on your journey.
If I may ask, to which organization do you belong?
