Actually, it's Uriel's Machine. Have you read it? It's one of my favorites.

Actually yes; all three books were the BEST of the genre; for me, it was all about "The Second Messiah".
I thought they were even better than "The Holy blood and Holy Grail" The story of the Pharaoh's mummy with the mysterious head injuries corresponding to the Masonic legend of Hiram Abiff; the "buried alive' mummy (dated from the same period) of a temple priest who had been castrated and soaked in milk, and then wrapped in mummy bandages and buried alive, the mystery of Rosslyn Chapel (and there IS a mystery, no matter what anyone says)...what's not to like?
Plus, as I said, my whole life CHANGED as a result of these books; I was literally HURLED headlong into Templar mysticism reborn, in a real-life account to rival "Foucault's Pendulum"...and it all started to coalesce into reality on the weekend of October 13, 2000, under a Full Moon in Aries (the Sign of the Warrior), when I took my OTO Second Degree, which interestingly enough, involves a SWORD.

I had already been told in a vision that I was to meet up with the leader of a Order of Knights Templar that was regrouping on the earthly palin, and that it would be my particular task (should I choose to accept it) to assist them in becoming established there.
I had thought at the time that this business of "Knights" was all a metaphorical exercise, an extension of the Heroic archetype on which I had been concentrating, and so was not at all prepared for the possibility that it might take a very literal, and most unprecedented turn...it was at this point that I and the earthly OTO parted ways; another, much older occult tradition had appeared to 'claim" my attentions!
