Good Day Brothers and those interested in our craft!
It has been a while since I have posted, shame on me, but duty and my vocations call as with all of us. It is tax time again, and I was finishing them up the other day and noticed something that is worth sharing. Last year we donated more than 600 dollars to Masonic charities, the bulk of which went to the Square and Compass Children’s Clinic.
How did we do it? Well through good folks like you!! I still keep my listing up on ebay for the Complete Masonic Library, a portion of the proceed go directly to the fund. I am posting here again to simply build awareness of the charity and the DVD. Let me give some more detail on the charity and the DVD below.
In 1947, a pediatric polio clinic was founded by Square & Compass, a non-profit, tax exempt organization presently operated by a voluntary Board of Directors. Later it became the Square & Compass Crippled Children’s Clinic serving disabled and chronically ill children through the State of Arizona Crippled Children’s Services. In 1991, the Children’s Clinics was formed as a non-profit corporation by the Tucson Medical Center (TMC) and the University Medical Center (UMC). Square & Compass and the pediatric medical community of Tucson have joined with TMC and UMC to provide services to the disabled and chronically ill children of Southern Arizona who are medically eligible. Square & Compass owns the building which houses the Children’s Clinics and also spends thousands of dollars annually on medical services, hospitalization, supplies and equipment for children who do not have other resources to provide the services.
I am a Mason and have found this library to be very helpful in continuing my education in Masonic History. There are other Masonic Libraries available on Ebay, however, this collection is the most complete. I have purchased the other collections and compared; I have done additional research and compiled the most comprehensive list currently available.
All of the books are from the 1800's and early 1900's. This collection is strictly related to Freemasonry and its other bodies such as the Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Knights Templar. There is no Anti Masonic material contained in this library. Almost all of the books are scanned directly from the book itself, so you can see exactly how the book was printed over 100 years ago. Own a piece of history...
Please follow the link to get a list of the exact titles and to purchase.
