In your guys/girls' opinion, what causes the Mandela effect? For those who are unfamiliar it's the whole Berenstein/Berenstain thing. There are also what people call 'flip-flops', where things change for a period of time, and then return to normal.
A good example of the Mandela effect is Chic-fil-a. If when reading that you remember it being spelled that way, you're wrong. It is (and apparently has always been): Chick-fil-a.
Do people here think this ties into the multiverse theories and quantum mechanics or psychological effect? (unreliable memory), or lastly mass media manipulation?
The most shocking one to me is that the girl Dolly in the movie Moonracker has never had braces.

To add to that, mass media manipulation seems to be unlikely as in the instances that I've encountered, the signs of buildings and everything relating to the product changes as well.

It may well be that we accidentally cross into parallel universes and back again without knowing.
For example on various occasions I have left an object in a specific place with nothing close to it - e.g. car keys on a completely empty kitchen bench. And I have come back an hour later and the object was gone - despite no one being in the house.
I would look around for a bit - even testing to see if the object was invisible but still there - and give up. An hour or later I would come back and the object would be where I had left it. Still no one else in the house - and each of those houses did not have poltergeists.
I could not detect any nature spirit activity and my current theory is that we exist in parallel universes or perhaps more correctly parallel timelines as I can image those.
There are various symptoms of data transfer from parallel timelines including:
- the permanent interest in King Arthur - allegedly a minor chieftain in early Britain - the great interest in the Nazis, 60 years after their defeat - a defeat that did not happen on at least one parallel timeline - the belief of the human race in its destiny despite the millennia of underperformance.

When you say that the nazis weren't defeated in a certain timeline, are you saying that based on the idea of every possible scenario existing in another dimension, or how would you know that? I wonder what would happen if they weren't defeated-- I know some fled to America to work with their intelligence agency but if to think what would happen if they actually won the war is frightening. America's government is already bad enough, and I think a lot of it owes to them working with refugee nazi scientists

> are you saying that based on the idea of every possible scenario existing in another dimension,
If you visualize standing on this timeline facing the future of the line with, say, 3 timelines to the left and 3 others to the right, the Nazis are doing well on the two rightmost timelines, timewise somewhat further along than we are on this line.
>to think what would happen if they actually won the war is frightening.
Oddly enough that is now a common topic for movies and tv - and of course Nazis on the Moon.
>I think a lot of it owes to them working with refugee nazi scientists
Again, oddly enough, it is not entirely clear that the Nazis lost WW2. It may be that they moved to other countries including the US where Nazis were employed to set up the CIA.

I've seen this verse applied to the Mandela Effect:
"He will speak out against the Most High and wear down the saints of the Highest One, and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law; and they will be given into his hand for a time, times, and half a time." - Daniel 7:25 (NASB)
The phrase 'he will seek to make alterations in times and in law' looks to me like it's the most relevant.
I know this is towards to end of the Kali Yuga according to Hinduism.
Based on my perception this phenomena seems to be appearing frequently with a large collective amount of people noticing the changes
Do you think that this ties into CERN and the Large Hadron Collider at all?

The Daniel quote is a dream-vision and who knows who has written it and later who has edited it. Still did you notice verse 22 the distinction between the Ancient of Days and the Most High? "22 till that the Ancient of Days hath come, and judgment is given to the saints of the Most High, and the time hath come, and the saints have strengthened the kingdom." Young's Literal Translation. And in the Zohar we have the Ancient of Ancients: ""He is the Ancient of the Ancients, the Mystery of the Mysteries, the Unknown of the Unknown. He has a form peculiar to Him, since He appears to us preferably as the Aged, as the Ancient of Ancients, as the Unknown among the Unknown. But under the form that we know Him, He still remains unknown to us. His vestment is white, and His appearance is that of a brilliant visage." Thus we have 3 different characters in increasing importance: - the Most High - the Ancient of Days - the Ancient of Ancients. Here is Blake's depiction labelled the Ancient of Days. It is derived from a common depiction of Ashur a subordinate of the Most High. Meanwhile Earth humans are at the end of a cycle and need to reinvent many social and economic systems. The Solar System as a spiritual entity is entering a new cycle and this is a major factor in the rapid change in human consciousness. I have not been convinced of the importance of the Large Hadron Collider. The human race has access to much more advanced technology but it is not in the public domain - being used by the secret military groups.

The most interesting things I've seen relating to CERN are these three: Firstly a video of CERN workers performing what is claimed to be the dance of Shiva (only a brief showing, so skip to around 21-22 seconds in the video): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Okz9jpMmnEgSecondly, there is a picture of a CERN working holding a piece of paper that just says 'Mandela' on it. Thirdly, and probably most importantly, there was a bizzare ritual performed to celebrate the opening of the Gotthard tunnel in Switzerland in which 9 (the number of new beginnings) workers died over the course of its development. Warning on this one: this video is extremely disturbing and creepy (although it's only the first 5 minutes or so of the ritual for the tunnel opening) www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVw_mPvYcDM

>performing what is claimed to be the dance of Shiva
It looks like modern dance to me. I do not detect any interest on the part of Shiva.
> bizzare ritual performed to celebrate the opening of the Gotthard tunnel
I had not realized that so many women are miners.
It may occur to you that the more people involved in a ritual, the more difficult it is to get it right.
I was coordinating a group of perhaps 6 who all knew each other well. It took 2 months of weekly meetings even to decide what sort of welder we needed. And then 5 days later we received a cheque from the other side of the world for the exact amount we needed. The cheque must have been written within a few hours of our finally getting agreement - and before anyone had second thoughts.
How much harder it is to do real ritual with 50 people. Four is ok if they have worked closely together for a long time.

Two entities that are of interest to me lately, although from the little I've seen they appear to be diametrically opposed to each other, are Shiva and Apollyon.
Shiva is viewed as the god of meditation, arts, yoga, and a destroyer of demons.
The only place I've seen Apollyon referenced is in Revelation 9:11 (possibly connection to terrorist attacks?).
I think if CERN were behind some of the worst black magic on the planet, that they would be much more likely to venerate Apollyon as opposed to Shiva, being that Shiva sounds like a god that would be pretty keen on destroying them if they were up to something of that sort.
Speaking of that, I saw Shiva equated to Enki on Youtube, but then again, that's Youtube and I'm not buying it unless there's a lot more evidence.

>Shiva and Apollyon. It is useful to distinguish the Hindu humanoid god that had a wife and 2 children from the Cosmic Intelligence that draws all manifestation to a periodic close. Apollyon takes you into the problems of moving names between entirely different writing systems over millennia. There may be three streams here: - Apop the nasty serpent god of the Egyptians and possibly of the Garden of Eden - Apollo - Apollonius - Paulo - St Paul - Abaddon - meaning destruction - a reference to a supposed (threatened?) bottomless pit 11and they have over them a king — the messenger of the abyss — a name [is] to him in Hebrew, Abaddon, and in the Greek he hath a name, Apollyon. Connecting Abaddon with Apollyon might well be a theological device to deal with Apollonius of Tyana whose early history seems exactly the same as that of Jesus. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Apollonius_of_Tyana The writings attributed to St Paul are so different from those of the Gospels that some consider they are actually the writings of Apollonius. As you will recall the word Abyss comes from Apsu which is the underworld freshwater ocean where EA has his palace. (E.A means house in the waters. Recently it has been discovered that there is 3 times as much freshwater inside the Earth as salt water in the oceans) Thus the king from the Abyss is from EA and apparently the Israelites on the surface are not pleased. This would support my proposition that the Jah of the OT is not the same as EA. Here is EA in the center - in his house in the waters of the Apsu >Shiva equated to Enki It might be better consider Shiva and Enlil as Enlil was never keen on the humans once they became so numerous. I am not too familiar with the Hindu traditions but it might well be that the two brothers Shiva and Vishnu could be matched with the brothers Enlil and Enki. A reading of the actions of those humanoid gods might well confirm that. Sitchin makes a pretty good job of demonstrating that there was only one set of gods globally (at a time). He even shows that when a particular god disappears from the Middle East, a god with the same characteristics appears in South America.

***May the Divine Light of Christ shine upon all who read this post***
Revisiting this thread I am now fairly confident that out of the list of currents you mentioned, it was the third. I suspect this is/was due to my natural inclination towards beings viewed as divine warriors: Khamael, Michael, Shiva, etc.
The entity previously mentioned (the bad one) come to mind after I saw a post on twitter which I will not re-post here. A man who worships the devil (he outright states it, no suspicion there) drew a picture of Abaddon who which portrays him as a super pissed off looking angel holding a lyre.
For some reason this guy was happy about that although apparently the locusts that the being commands are going to harm people who don't have the Seal of God in their foreheads.
Here is some much more, er, (advanced?) material which ties into the project Cicada 3301 and CERN's current program (the awake project)
the video on Youtube is entitled: CRYPTIC MESSAGE AND CERN'S AWAKE PROJECT 2017.
The video shows an audio file being reversed and played by Cicada 3301. The reversed audio states the following: "Ursa major will bite the triumphant hand which feeds it. While the sloth of May decays in the garden of Europa. A Lion will open the gates of hell, fighting serpents and ancient wraths as the shadow of humanity explodes into an apocalyptic spring".
I just typed it out because on the sidebar there's a recommended video with a thumbnail of demonic sigils and I figured that's probably not the best thing to link.
Interestingly enough, Khamael is listed as a demon, although he is spelled Camael. I disagree with this based on your previous experience with him, and him being named as an archangel by Dion Fortune. I saw a movie/mini series entitled Fallen recently which I would think accurately portrays him though I can't say for sure.

>Cicada 3301
Mental intelligence is not the most important human function.
>Khamael is listed as a demon
I have had some interactions with Khamael including at the top of Glastonbury Tor. Compare the atmosphere of photos of the Tor, pre and post 1987.
Khamael is known as The Avenging Angel, or more accurately The Angel of Divine Justice. He is no demon.

Instinctively I feel this to be an accurate portrayal of Khamael: www.youtube.com/watch?v=55Beht_lOA4The link is to the movie/mini series 'Fallen' (2006) that I talked about. Skip to 51:57 for the portrayal of Khamael.

>an accurate portrayal of Khamael
The portrayal is consistent with many of the movies currently popular. It is a dramatic representation predicated upon Earth humans being close to the center of cosmic action - despite the remote location of this solar system.
