I have devised a rapid way of opening a Lodge for a new Lodge that would like to meet at 18:30H and be sitting down to dine at 19:30H. This is just the opening. There would be a much shorter ritual all the way through.
WM: Brn, assist me to open the Lodge. Bro [name], is the Lodge properly tyled and are all within the Lodge known by you to be Freemasons? JW: To order Brn. Bro [name], the Lodge is properly tyled and all within the Lodge are Freemasons. WM: Bro [name], are all officers of the Lodge in their correct positions and are they aware of their traditional duties? SW: They are, WM. WM: Then, brethren, the Lodge being duly formed, before I declare it open, Chaplain: Let us invoke the assistance of the Great Architect of the Universe in all our undertakings; may our labours, thus begun in order, be conducted in peace, and closed in harmony. All: So mote it be. WM: Brethren, in the name of the GAOTU, I declare the Lodge duly open (all cut Sign) for the purposes of Freemasonry in the First Degree. Gavels, columns, bible, TBs, knocks.

In terms of flows of Light, it is possible to open a lodge very quickly if all the officers are familiar with that Light. If however the real objective is to close as soon as possible so as to eat, then it may be better to hold a table lodge with the food already served. freemasonry.bcy.ca/texts/tablelodge.pdf
