Hey Brethren, Thought you all might like to see this newspaper clip from The Guardian newspaper in the UK dated 1924. It is incredibly interesting to see how different freemasonry was perceived by the media during that era. I think policemen wearing masonic regalia whilst in full uniform would be highly;y controversial in the UK today. I look forward to the day where we are given this kind of positive media attention again.

Very interesting! Central Hall was probably being used because Memorial Hall on Great Queen Street was under construction.
Central Hall is a beautiful building. It is often called Methodist Central Hall. Would Methodists nowadays rent their main hall out to Freemasons? I would hope so.
Central Hall is also very close to Scotland Yard, so the 6 policemen did not have far to go after the Installation.
