Whistler
I am sorry that TLR took this decision, but they have decided to be strict in thier rules and that decision is final!

I have to ask, out of sheer nosiness:
Whistler
Are you no longer a Craft Freemason?

I have to ask, out of sheer nosiness: Whistler Are you no longer a Craft Freemason? Yes I just misunderstood the heading on the homepage of the site " A place for those within the craft to discuss it's particulars, meaning and their understandings. Tyled Forum: Only those who are Freemasons may have access."Perhaps they should change that to make it a little clearer. I might add I do not have any hard feelings to the Mods overthere, just a little sadness. As we say "Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth"

Well from the information given above, I too am sad, and shed a tear. Sorry Bill.
Middlepillar
I think that I need to address the luminaries.

Middlepillar I think that I need to address the luminaries. Stewart You do not miss much! In some Masonic Orders there are different ways of signing off. For instance if you are amember of KT You would sign off with; Yours in the Bonds of the Order, another is In Faith, Unity & Zeal. The one that Is particularly strong to me is; Yours before The Luminaries. This is a very powerful statement (to me) And it simply means It is beyond question, a Truth. Ponder on the signature and perhaps it will make sense.

I thought we had all got past the "pot-shotting" at other Forums now and I thought everyone had come to terms with the idea of each one being differently run and of a different feel.

I thought we had all got past the "pot-shotting" at other Forums now and I thought everyone had come to terms with the idea of each one being differently run and of a different feel. M Mike there are lots of Masonic Forums world wide that have tyled areas, that is fine it suits them, afterall Forums belong to the Owners/ and or members and that is their right. Pot shot no... Stewart there are no problems I am still permitted to visit the above forum, and I do very much enjoy and respect reading Bill and others posting especially SRIA section. I guess the only restriction they have made on me are the same as they would to you - hey we can live with that and wish them all well as I am sure they wish us well. There is room for all .

It's the old expressions "House Rules Apply" or "When in Rome"
I trust we will never have "Tyled" sections here, it goes against the whole ethos of this Forum. Anyway Whistler I thought you WERE a Craft Freemason, so why are you no longer permitted to enter that part of their Forum? Maybe The Lodgeroom UK ought to change its qualification for that section to "UGLE and Amity Freemasons only".
In any event you are always welcome here.

M Mike There hasn't been any 'pot-shotting' on this thread so far - simply a statement of what happened, and a desire to not see tyled areas introduced here. Fret not fellow forumites, there will be no such thing. In the interests of harmony I am going to lock this thread. It is a sad thing to have happened, but we can do nothing about it here.
