In response to Steve. Astral Projection / Travel or OBE are completely natural experience. We Astral travel thousands of times in our sleep, we often just don't remember it when we wake up. We can learn how to leave our body at will, be fully conscious of the experience and remember it when we return. The most important thing you learn is there is no death, as you discover that you are indeed a spiritual being independent of you physical body. There we go Steve - how is that for starters

An UGLE Tyler's work is quite Mundane. I know, I WAS one for three years until very recently.
Lay out the Lodge, ensure as far as possible that everyone signs the Attendance Book, deal with Visitors if their host is not around, provide Aprons for EAs and FCs and the occasional visitor MM who has forgotten theirs. Give the appropriate knocks, prepare Candidates, admit any latecomers. Occasionally prove an unknown Visitor. Clear the Temple after the Meeting. Give the Tyler's Toast at the end of the FB. Most of the time outside the Lodge would be spent reading the paper, a book or studying a Ritual Book of one of the other Degrees or Orders for a meeting where he had some Office to perfrom inside the Temple.
Nothing at all Esoteric , I'm sorry to say.
