I suspect there is tongue in cheek there
But the esoteric aspects of squares levels and pendiculars are quite profound
For example there is an etheric mosaic pavement across the landscape where I live. The squares are smaller where the energy is more intense.
The squares are aligned NW-SE and when the reach the pavement of our lodge (aligned EW) the landscape tiles realign to the temple as they pass through and then return to their original alignment on the other side

Russell - No it wasn't tongue in cheek - and the meeting produced many interesting contributions One dealing with perpendiculars - If you poke a toothpick into an orange is the toothpick a perpendicular - Can anything attached to a globe be perpendicular

Quite. And how does that translate into a planetary context?

If I push my toothpick in too far it will come out the other side, before the toothpick comes out the otherside It will have travelled through the Point in the center- but keeps on going. Then if i spin the orange on its axis. ... Russell I am going to think about the answer to your question -- Good One
