Ingo, Do you know if there are any Mixed or Comasonic in Aalst (Alost) - not far from Gent? My mother was born there and I have family in that area, spent most of my early childhood on holiday there.
My last visit was in 1997 prior to the LDH Paris Convention, but was unable to contact any Comasons at that time.
Cheers, Hubert

Sorry Herbert, I just saw your post today the first time, but here is my answer: A co-masonic lodge in Gent should exist, because in Belgium there are al lot of co-masonic lodges and about 7.000 co-masons from LDH Fédération belgique, which is the second largest grand lodge in Belgium after the Grand Orient of Belgium. And Gent is a bigger town in this country.....
I do know that also a co-masonic lodge of the Gran Logia Simbolica Espana exists in Gent. It was founded in the 50s or 60s for masonic refugees who fled from the fashist regime of General Franco. This lodge exists to-day, I am in contact with the W.M. (if you need his email-Adress, just ask me), but most of the brethren are from Belgium or the Netherlands to-day.

Thanks, Ingo for that info, it could be quite a while before I visit the continent again as both the cost, and time, away from my home creates heavy demands. - a trip to Europe should be at least 5 weeks and preferably longer!
I will however, keep these notes on hand for the future.
Cheers, Hubert.

Hubert If you cross the world to visit the continent in a few years, you are also welcome in Heidelberg/Germany.

Denmark has two choices for co-masons: Le Droit Humain (with lodges in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg). and Danish Free and Independent Masons (one lodge, in Copenhagen). There is no mention of any allegiences on their site – perhaps they are truly independent. They work the Copenhagen rite (Ritus Hauniensis), which leads me to believe that they are actually a splinter of the irregular Grand Lodge of Denmark. I have tried emailing them twice for more information, but have had no reply.
