Hello all,
I'm female, 38 and from Birmingham in the West Midlands, UK. We are affectionately (and sometimes not so affectionately) known as Brummies. I moved here from Coventry (all of 20 miles) when I got married 15 years ago. We have an 8 year old son. I work in the gas industry and my husband is an engineer in the automotive industry.
I've just had my interviews, which went well. I'm hoping to hear within the next month. My nearest co-mason lodge is about 60 miles away. I guess the Americans on this board would say it's practically on my doorstep.
I began my journey through esoterica 4 years ago with Paganism. Although it did give me a deep love of nature I haven't found a path within it which has given me intellectual or spiritual fulfillment.
I'm currently reading The Meaning of Masonry by W.M. Wilmshurst and The Ocean of Theosophy by William Q. Judge. I'm a novice gardener with an allotment, I belong to an operatic society (although my singing isn't great) and we're currently rehearsing for Jesus Christ Superstar which opens in April.
That's me.

Welcome!
And all the best wishes for your Masonic path - may I enquire with which order you are in contact?

LOL!! ;D You're right about that...
Sorry, I didn't catch your posting here before, or I would have piped up earlier.
