Hello all, I was sent a link to this site last week and have spent a long time reading since then and have enjoyed it immensely.
I use a number of boards (non Masonic) and this board seems really friendly and has a very relaxed atmosphere around it, something that isn’t easy to achieve when dealing with just text messages.
I am a new Mason and became a MM in February this year and I am currently IG at my Lodge.
I am attending Kirby LOI on Tuesday and really enjoying it.
The informality of this site appeals to me and I think this site is a great advert for anyone wanting to become or learn about Masonry, keep up the good work.

Welcome Epicurus Natuarlly I agree totally with your remarks about our forum. Other such fora have a different approach which works for them, but this particular place is unique because in my opinion it appeals to a wider Masonically minded group of people who may not be able to express themselves as freely elsewhere. Again, welcome

It's good to know that other new members share my opinion of this forum. I keep looking at others just to compare, but so far there really is no comparison. The moderators do a wonderful job of keeping things friendly, on track, and relevant--fun, too, because it's all right to have a sense of humor. I think you'll continue to find this an interesting place to come at the end of a day.

Thank you all for the very warm welcome and I now intend to pass the wed address for this site to a couple of other young(ish) Masons who I know have lots of questions.
I've spent a lot of time reading the site so I have had a number of my questions answered already.
I like to say thanks to staffs who I had an e-mail from that lead me here and pointed me to a thread that has helped me answer some of my questions.
I'm now off to see if I can find the thread about "God" and freemasons as I had a very interesting chat with a Jewish Brother last night after Kirby LOI to see if it answers my questions, if not I'll ask in that thread.
