Thank you all, Leonardo, you are correct; Jersey is a lovely place to live, but my heart is still in Wales.

Hi Mike
Welcome to the forum - I was in a Mark meeting the other week with a friend of yours....tall chap with a beard...I know you are on a small island, but was quite amused at how small a world it can be....hope to see you in Jersey some day.

Hi Bod I know a couple of people with beards, would he be in the same Lodge as me do you know?
If you ever do make it over here, please email me and I will sort a couple of meetings for you to attend, along with a tour of the Island. ;D

Hi Mike, Glad you've arrived. I had the pleasure of sitting in the hall in St Helier a few years ago as well as a look around the small museum upstairs. A very interesting place with a very interesting masonic past, particulary the WWII stories. I was given a couple of books by the gentleman who showed me around the museum( shamefull that I can't remember his name), The story of Jersey Freemasonry, and The Sacking of the Jersey Temple by the Nazis in 1941. Two of the most enjoyable modern day books that I've read which I would reccomend to anyone.

Hi Mike
Sorry for the delay in replying, it was Julian with a beard, not sure if he is in your lodge, but I think he might be....or one of the orders at least!
I do hope to make it over to Jersey soon.
