Looks like I could be visiting the capital of the "Auld Enemy" again this year. My good lady has agreed to sign my leave chit again. She does love me you know! I just need to decide when to visit. The last week in Sept is good for me as I have most of my Installations out of the way and it's before my meetings in Oct. I'm thinking of travelling down by train on Sept 26th(arrive lunchtime) and stopping for 3 nights and travelling back on the 29th.
If any forumite has any meetings I could attend I would be greatfull. These dates are not confirmed yet, just finding out the lay of the land. I could visit in Oct too depending if it clashes with my own meetings.
I can attend Craft, Arch, Mariners, Cryptic, KT, RCC and Rose Croix.

You should post closer to the time?

Andrew, Being in the job that I am I need to plan well ahead. The travel date 26th of Sept looks favourite at the moment, in between my own RAC Installation and our PGL 250th Anniversary meeting. With working shifts, family, and other masonic commitments the end of Sept is not too far away with regards my plans.

I have a craft meeting arranged for the 27th Sept(MP's lodge). I would however like to visit a RCC Conclave either on the 26th or 28 sept. I have contacted my own Grand body regarding a visit and have been informed that the protocol is for to get a personal invite from an English member. So if anyone wishes to assist me with an invite to a meeting in London on those dates I would be very greatfull. I will of course pay my own way regarding meals, etc

Had an excellent week in London. The hospitality at Middlepillars lodge was outstanding and so too was the ritual work. First time I had seen an English 3rd being conferred. It was also good to meet up with Julian again. I also had the pleasure of attending a Rose Croix Perfection which was very interesting to say the least. Very different from the Scottish ritual although the basis is the same.
