ANNOUNCEMENT - NORTHERN CONFERENCE 2006
The Cornerstone Society is pleased to announce details of its Northern Conference, “To Work with Love and Harmony” which will be held at Hemsley House, Salford, Greater Manchester on Saturday 11th November 2006. Registration is at 9.30 am with a welcome at 10.00 am from the Chairman of the Society, George Francis, Senior Grand Warden of the United Grand Lodge of England and Second Grand Principal of the Supreme Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of England.
Speakers will include Trevor Stewart, a past master of Quatuor Coronati Lodge No. 2076 and Prestonian Lecturer 2004 with a talk entitled “The Way Forward”, Dr Brent Morris, Editor Scottish Rite Journal of Freemasonry, Supreme Council 33°, Southern Jurisdiction, USA and one of the world’s foremost Masonic scholars with “The Forest and the Trees”, Prof. Njördur P. Njardvik, Grand Master of the International Order of Co Freemasonry Le Droit Humain with "In the Light of Truth" and Julian Rees, Deputy Editor Freemasonry Today with “The Way to the Centre”.
The cost per delegate is £15.50 which includes refreshments and a light lunch. This year bookings and secure payments can be made online on our website www.cornerstonesociety.com. Payments can still be made by cheque by downloading the booking form from the website and remitting payment and a stamped addressed envelope to the Secretary, details below.
The Society is also delighted to announce that it has commissioned an exclusive lapel pin. It has an enamel finish and bears the Society's distinctive logo in blue on a white background. It measures 1.5 cm by 2.0 cm. The pin costs £7.05 in the UK including postage and packing. For overseas purchasers, the all in cost including airmail to Europe is £7.35 and to the USA and the Rest of the World £8.15. You can purchase the pin online on our website or by writing to the Secretary, enclosing the correct payment (in Sterling).
The details of the Cornerstone - Brent Morris Lecture Tour in November are also now posted on the website. The nationwide tour will cover Manchester, Sheffield, Buckinghamshire and London.
