Did you realize that many films of Walt Disnet deal with esoteric items? Snowcap: the man who is in search, dies and resurrects (think to the final scene, when she is "raised" by the Prince). The "Civiltà Cattolica", the review of the Jesuits, brought a strong attack against Disney's production, since it is full of esoteric themes. The book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" depicts the three degrees of the Craft. René Guénon wrote that when humanity pays no more attention to spiritual themes, they hide themselves in folklore, to be undestood by the children and by the simple men.

No suprise that you will find this sort of thing as Walt Disney was a mason himself.
Anyone noticed anything else ?

Interesting topic. I'm certain there are many other films that contain hidden meaning and I lookforward to members coming up with some gems

Giovanni,
I have read the Seagull book. Now where are the 3 degrees?

Most, if not all, of what is hidden in life, is hidden in plain sight. It must be a mystery of nature and science.
One of the beauties of Freemasonry is that it guides the way, for those who are receptive.
And for those who are not, well there is a funny thing about duality. But I will let you mull on that for a while.
[And in case anyone thinks that this is irrelevant to the topic, it is not. It is actually quite pertinent.]

Walt Disney was not a freemason, I am afraid. He was a member of De Molay but he was never initiated into a lodge.
