I came across the following and thought I'd share it with you all. But then I started thinking it would be great to see others GL buildings from the air. So if you have any such photos, please share. The following link will show a complete aerial view of Hexagon House and surrounding area. wikimapia.org/5261055/Hexagon_House

Leo, Load Google earth ( earth.google.com/ ) on to your PC then you can do any GL in the world once you know where it is. I particularly like viewing all the places I've visited in Egypt and Africa using it. You can search by post code, so for example UGLE is at WC2B 5AZ, GLoS is EH2 3DH The GLoI is not as easy to pinpoint as you don't seem to have postcodes. Mike

That's right Mike, no post codes just yet but they are on their way. In fact, we were meant to have them at the beginning of this year: Postcodes in Ireland by 1st January 2008That is a great idea about earth google.com. I actually have it already on my lappy (Laptop) but rarely use it but now I have a reason to

Grand Lodge of ConnecticutTo the lower left is the Masonic Hospital that predates the GL building. Our new GL building was just finished this past year, the old one having been razed to make room.

Grand Lodge of DenmarkIt is one of the largest purpose-built Masonic buildings in use (from 1927, I think). The green stretch is the Commons (which stretches to the Park, our national stadium). I have not detected any S&Cs in the lawn ... yet! ;D

Mike I can't remember the last time this computer has given me so much entertainment. One can play only so much solitaire. Thank you for many diverting evenings. What's the area code for Roswell, I wonder.

We have a highly secretive area in the middle of Australia called Pine Gap... everyone knows that it is there but Google... Maybe we could use the Google "missings" to find what we didn't know existed.... ? Maat

Thanks Tom. That is so cool to have a GL on Masonic Avenue Anybody from California here? Your GL is one street over from Mason Street in San Francisco. What the hell? You couldn't get it moved one block?

LOL, Hi Tom.
Looks like we had to get the mystical '1111' in the street address, so some sacrifices had to be made ;-)

You couldn't get it moved one block? The GL or the street? Hell, we're Masons, dammit! Either one would have been fine.
