As have I. Let us continue without cease to hold him in our prayers so that our willed intent may provide him with strength to pull through.

For you, Theron.
The Wilmshurst Prayer
R.˙.W.˙.M.˙. O sovereign and Most Worshipful of all Masters, Who in Thy infinite Love and Wisdom hast devised our Order as a means to draw Thy children nearer to Thee, and hast ordained its Officers that they are emblems of Thy sevenfold power:
O.˙.G.˙. Be Thou unto us an Outer Guard, and defend us from the perils that beset us when we turn from that which is without to that which is within:
I.˙.G.˙. Be Thou unto us an Inner Guard, and preserve our souls that desire to pass within the portal of Thy Holy mysteries:
J.˙.D.˙. Be unto us the Younger Deacon, and teach our wayward feet the true and certain steps upon the path that leads to Thee:
S.˙.D.˙. Be Thou also the Elder Deacon, and guide us up the steep and winding stairway to Thy throne:
W.˙.J.˙.W.˙. Be unto us the Lesser Warden, and in the meridian sunlight of our understanding, speak to us in the sacraments that shall declare the splendours of Thy unmanifested light:
W.˙.S.˙.W.˙. Be Thou also unto us the Greater Warden, and in the awful hour of disappearing light, when vision fails and thought has no more strength, be with us still, revealing to us, as we may bear them, the hidden mysteries of Thy shadow:
I.˙.P.˙.M.˙. And so through light and darkness raise us, Great Master, till we are made one with Thee, in the unspeakable glory of Thy presence in the East.

Bro. Jason Smith posted this at NOS and I thought the BB here would want to see it; especially the part about the Brotherhood that has manifested itself the last few days:
"Just wanted to chime in here and talk about Theron's family. I left the hospital around 9 pm last night and yes it was very encouraging with Theron's Blood pressure maintaining and his oxygen saturation level had moved up from 84 yesterday morning to hovering at 90 when I left. It was very encouraging.
Theron has a great and beautiful family. They were very grateful for all the postings here and on all the other masonic forums. Theron's daughters read the postings last nite, thanks to a great brother cutting and pasting them to document form. I talked to Theron about five times during the day and let him know what was going on online with all the wishes and prayers being manifested for his health. I enjoyed time with Theron's father and his godfather who are truly great masons. The Master of Theron's lodge came and brought their newly raised Master Mason with him. WB Manny Blanco was there and he and I and a few others were able to talk about all the good arguements that many have had with Theron (LOL). God love that Brother. I wish I could have stayed longer.
The one thing that I do know is this. Everything that Brother Theron wanted as far as Brotherhood goes was manifested over the last few days with the downpour of love and affection from all his friends across the world."

Bro. Jason, a little while ago, posted the following update at NOS:
"I just got off the phone with Kari, his daughter and let her know about it [Bro. Bill's online site for Bro. Theron]. This way everyone in his family (internal and external) can view.
Kari informed me that he has made it through the night. His oxygen saturation is still holding around 90.(this is good. They gave him the last of the medication (maxed out now) that they can give him for his blood pressure which had fallen back down to about 70 over 40. But I am very hopeful because he made it through the night. The medicine is the last that they can give him, let us pray that it is enough to get him through this critical period.!!!!!"

Let us pray, indeed. As you rightly point out he'll need to get through this critical phase if he's going to make it. May T.H.G.A.O.T.U. see that it is so.

I can't help but think that the words of the hymn we sing in my lodge after the Tyler's Toast is very apt at this time
Architect in thy great mercy Hear our evening Prayer Keep our Brethren who are absent "Neath thy care.
When in sorrow, when in danger When in loneliness; In Thy love look down & comfort Their distress.
Thou who are Supreme in Power Over land and sea Bless them, save them, guide them, keep them Near to thee
So mote it be.
Keep up the fight Theron

No, the latest is very, very bad. I don't even want to post it I just came from NOS where Bro. Jason has posted an update. Bro. Jason also set up a tribute thread at NOS here and folks have begun posting their remembrances of Bro. Theron. I don't have it in me to give up hope, even yet, but I do see the update is very grim. Here is it: ------- Brothers all, I am sad to inform everyone that the tests results have come back and there is no sign of brain activity. The machines are the only thing keeping Theron's physical body alive now. The family is now waiting on Theron's father and the rest of his family to see if there is anyone else who wishes to see him. The family will be turning off the machines after that. I know that Theron is in a better place now. I have offered the most sincere regrets and prayers on behalf of our family here on line. What I have to say about Brother Theron Dunn: He was a good and kind friend who always gave me a call from where ever he was to see how I was doing that day. Knowing that I was ready to retire, he would always email me with jobs that had openings wanting to do his part in making sure that I could maintain my responsibility to my family. Theron's father told me how Theron had never shown an interest in Freemasonry for many years but when he finally stepped forward he jumped in headfirst. Theron is a good and exemplary Brother who has offered solutions to Freemasonry and not complaints. Some have not agreed with with everything Theron had to say or offer but no man can ever deny that he selflessly gave his energy to the betterment of the Fraternity. He took the principles and tenets to heart and showed them through his actions and his words. He worked many long hours to make sure that he could buy his wife the house that she had wanted. He was able to do this just weeks ago. He was a good husband and good grandfather, for I saw it in his family as I shared time with them on Saturday. They love him as much as he loved them. Theron, today is your day and I thank you for your friendship, your thoughts, and your tireless efforts to help others. I know that you may have had some regrets for words past between friends, but as Brothers we love and adore you. I know that my life has been a better life with you in it and I cannot imagine a better life without it. I will strive to keep bettering myself and will continue to work in partnership with others for a betterment of the Fraternity that you envisioned. You did your part and I will continue to do mine. I love you my Kind Brother Theron and here is that libation I promised you this week. www.lodgeroomuk.com/forum/images/smiles/beer.gif-------------------------

This is terribly sad news. Even though I may not have always agreed with everything Bro. Theron said or the way he said it, I feel the world of Freemasonry has lost one of its greatest luminaries.
I wrote the following on NOS but will share them here, too.
It's hard to put things into words but I feel I should try.
Brother Theron, I will never forget your great contribution to Freemasonry, to also bringing a greater awareness and acceptance of women in the Craft to Mainstream Masonry. As we are all aware you weren't always of the opinion that a woman could also be a Mason but when, over the course of time, your views changed you didn't hold back in making them public.
I have learned much from you and for that I will be eternally grateful.
God Bless you, my Brother. And may your light continue to shine from the heavens!
