a personal fave. not much i can say for a description that Amazon already doesn't:
"Written by a leading authority on the subject, this intriguing book explores the history of Freemasonry and its relationship to many of the ancient mystical rites of Egypt, Greece, Crete, and medieval Europe. It concludes with a discussion of the Scottish Rite and the Co-Masonic Order of the twentieth century."
it's a refreshing read and does not dance around esoteric topics. it embraces them and has helped me a whole bunch. i thumb through it often. the only bummer is that it is a reprint of "Ancient Mystic Rites" and the original has a bunch of illustrations that are missing from this one.
omni: In my Lodge the Secretary is a hugh bully along with control issues. if anyone even asks a question he files masonic charges against them. He controls members mostly because they are afraid of him.

foriamhim: To omni: Grow some balls, that lodge is yours as well as every member in that lodge. If you are right, its not your problem. Nobody likes the ugliness of masonic charges. Light will always illuminate darkness, don't be afraid, be a better man.
