I am coming to a point where this degree is difficult and not a cake walk like the previous degree, this transmutation is something i did not expect to feel so strong, the winding stair case is just that, my life seem's to be upside down but iam doing more self analysis and going deeper into my own state of mind which i can corrolate to "Man Know thyself".With the thing's going on in my life i had a foolish thought of resigning (split second) and realized that True Freemasonry has it's own key's that the Mason has to unlock and obtain the secret's to his/her own being.Has anyone else had this experience? I know i will preserver!

I had similar experiences previous to my initiation.
I recall a period of 9 months where I be about to act in situations when I would suddenly realise what prejudices underpinned my intended action. And I would be astounded at my ignorant beliefs.
The sensation was somewhat like free-fall. There was nothing to hang on to
Fortunately the rate of change slowed after 9 months. I must have dealt with the most obviously ignorant beliefs.
Here is a question for the FC: Where would one go to find an employer in whom one would place unbounded confidence?

Bro:. Cosmic Thought,
Our FC degree does have a tendency to affect us this way. I remember mine with a mixture of fondness and distress. The unworthy had to be separated from the worthy, and a new structure erected from that worthy material. It was a painful experience, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat, knowing how much I learnt during that year.
Just bear in mind the peculiar manner in which FCs received their wages, and why.
Labour on. All will become clear in due time.

In our lodge we always feel a bit sorry for a new candidate - without exception it seems that after their Initiation they are severely challenged in one or more areas of their life.
A truly testing time.
The other testing time seems to occur when one sits in the Master's Chair. You can almost hear the Great Unknown say Ha! So you think you've got what it takes huh?

Makes sense though, when you think about it. Challenges makes one Strong, Compassion makes one Beautiful.

cosmicthought, be a bit more Zen about it. Being is doing: do the Degree, undergo the ceremony of Passing, and you will be a Fellow of the Craft.
Taking action and reaping the wages of that action is what this Degree is all about. You cannot exercise the Working tools just by thinking about them. They may be symbolic, but they are tools. A tool's existence is the action for which it was intended: become the tool, and its action will be your existence.
