Our lodge intends to design its own lodge banner and get it made by a professional enterprise?
Does anybody know a source of purchase?
Thanks

Slightly off thread a bit but there is a website www.lodgebanners.org which explains the history of banners in general and you can also upload your own lodge banner for inclusion. Great Site and check out Brighthelmstone 8042 .. submitted by yours truly but slight mistake shows me as W.Bro .. This will be correct on Dec 11th 2009 when god willing i hope to be Master of my Craft Lodge .. How time flies eh

As I have said elsewhere, if you give me the design and size etc. I will give you a quotation. Last one I supplied was half the price of the competition quote.

It's a bit of a shame we in our Constitution don't go in for processions any more. I gather they used at one time to be a bit of a fixture at Landemer Days, and of course, at the laying of the foundation stones of civic buildings. The only remnant of what they once were, I suppose, is the processions of the Orange and Black Institutions. And the less said about them, the better

Thanks The design should be submitted to the Provincial Grand Lodge in Ireland, and may need to be finally approved by Dublin. However, I'm sure your Secretary and Past Masters will be well aware of the requirements. S&F Ricardo
