Ingo, I have emailed you with regards to this. Our Order will be keen, though I suspect the Malecraft, may be a little frosty, and down Taupo decidedly icy to overtures of Masonic visits

What gives you that idea Whistler, the Brethren I have met from Taupo have all been most welcoming
However on looking at Ingo's profile, I see that he is a co-mason and as such could not visit a regular Lodge in Taupo, or for that matter anywhere else in New Zealand

Even as if he is an unwelcome visitor on the bottom of his shoe! So I suppose being the freindly Co-Mason that Whistler undoubtedly is he doesnt want Ingos friend to receive the same frosty treatment?

When you say 'meet' do you mean socially or for lodge meetings?
Either way I'm sure Whistler could assist.

Certainly can, and always excited to welcome an approved visitor to our Lodge Meetings, it will just depend on Dates, Hoping to have a 2nd Degree ceremony when he is here. Will be very sad if we can't work something out.

I will respond to the invite personally, but if any Bro. (or sister) is in Christchurch NZ we meet for Blue every 2nd Saturday evening at 7pm (except January) and also have Mark and RC meetings during the year. This coming year, 2006, is a special one for me as my wife Jan will be Installed as RWM of Christchurch Lodge No 6 at the February meeting.
Cheers, Hubert

BTW, my Bro. would also be interested in meeting male-only brethren... in a pub f.e.
