A great deal of FM's recognition, and respect comes from the appreciation of the ancient cathedrals and monuments, etc, etc, etc built by ancient freemasons of yesteryear and how they still glow with splendor today. Now....generally, masons have not been actively erecting large edifices in FM's name for a long, long time now, as the freemasonry enjoyed all over the world just doesn't do this anymore as in previous centures.
Now, assuming this trend continues long into our society's future, say a few hundred more years, I wonder how much harm will be done the craft's perseverence w/o those magnificent works of architecture.

Although...now that i think about it, there IS one building representative of freemasonry that's been razed for over 2500 yrs for which there is still PLENTY of remembrance!! ;D ;D
