Oh, for heaven's sake Magus, where have you been? Of course the earth is not a mere 10,000 years old Homo Neanderthalis was over 400.000 years old befor he became extinct, there is more than sufficient evidence of modern man having been on earth for over 100,000, the American continents were inhabited by people crossing the lnd bridge between America and Asia some 18,000 years ago. THere are fossils of dinosars from millions of years ago.
Mind you, reading your signature explains a lot!

I am not sure you are aware but here in the USA where the "Intellegent Design" Creationism lobby is taking over portions of our public schools (in Texas it is now mandatory for Creationism to be taught in public schools. I obviously know that the world is over 10K years old. But over half of the USA population believe just that. Recent polls show that 24% of Britainspopulation believe that the Earth revolves around the sun every month. These are glaring issues. Love and Light,

I saw a documentary on this very issue of Creationism. Not wishing to step on anyone's religious toes but it seems incomprehensible to me that any with even the slightest understanding of science would accept such a theory, but that’s what happening in some portions of the States where some scientists accept Creationism over Evolution. But it isn’t unique to the US, here in Europe, Germany in particular; there are schools that have adopted this teaching method. Some may find the following article of interest: www.spiegel.de/international/zeitgeist/0,1518,609712,00.html

The dumbing down of future generations is sewing our destruction. Love and Light, The future is here and the destruction is already clearly evident. This generation is savvy, but it certainly "ain't" as smart as previous generations in many respects. They have the "tech' down but they do not have the "heart" stuff or common sense stuff, along with a host of other things that lead to construction of finer things that better society as a whole. I'm sure that you can name many other aspects that are being destroyed already or are well on their way. I would agree up to a point, but for arguments sake let's say you are 100% correct. The question is why? It is because prior generations have let us down? Cause & Effect? Love and Light,

The answer is amazingly simple: About 6000 years ago, G-d created a 13 Billion year old universe - dust, light and fossils included exactly where they should be at that point in time. This is one of the most wonderful answers to this question I have ever heard. Thank you.
