Hello :)I am new to the site so I thought I would say hello and introduce myself. I do my Masonry in the province of East Lancashire and am a member of Minnehaha Lodge No 2363, Lodge of the Five Boroughs (Athelstan) & Royal Arch Chapter. I was initiated in 1991, so I have not been in the craft for too long. I look foreword to taking part in the forum as I use the old saying "a day without an increase in Masonic knowledge is a day wasted"

Welcome! Just curious about something. Being a son of the prairies I've always understood that minnehaha or "rapid waters" is either Dakota or Lakota. How did a lodge in East Lancashire end up being named after a character in Longfellow's "Song of Hiawatha"? I grew up in Minnehaha County, which makes it even more interesting...
