Hello, my name is Joshua Walker. I was recently installed as Worshipful Master of Lodge Hera- 1613 Nation. We are the Hellenic Rite of Freemasonry founding lodge.
On a personal note, I am a husband and father. I work in a marketing capacity for a corporate monolith. I'm also a Hellenic Pagan.
Glad to be here.

Welcome glad to have you around! Wow hellenic pagan, so that means you have faith or draw faith out of old hellenic gods? Sounds impressive could you give me some information about it? Is it related to the greek mythology or does it go even further back to hellenic natural worship?

Polytheistic Hellenism has a pretty strong base. I have met people from all over the world. The community is also diverse. Has a strong tie in that way to Freemasonry.
In my Masonic lodge actually Hellenic pagans are the majority. Although I am going to strive for greater diversity during my term as WM.

All of the Gods and Godess are to be reapcted. We have specific days and times of year dedicated to specific Gods.
Many have a God or Godess they feel most aligned with. Mine obviously I's Hyperion, my wife's Apollo. That doesn't mean that we ignore the others.
I believe all of the God's are represented in ourselves. The Gods are to be served and to serve. Balance is the key.

It is just that there are some personality tests that use Greek gods to devide humans into certain cathegories. That's awefull to do but once I did the test wich is one for children... I realised how mutch of it was true and on such a high psychological level.
But it is to keep balance between those gods but it is normal to feel closer to a certain one. Do you feel better when that month is there??

I'm pretty open minded about religion and truly believe that all have the right to worship what they will.\
That said, I find it hard to believe that someone in 2011 North America truly believes in the existence of Greek Gods.
Pretending to do so is so easy. But really now. You actually look into your own heart and believe that there is a God named Apollo out there and he drives his chariot across the sky each day?
