That is the point, the process produced the cooked food. Cool. To extend this, if a process or path does not produce the desired end we can safely say that the process or path does not work.

The point was food was produced in life, the ingredients dont matter, the spices dont matter, the dishes its served on dont matter. They could use anchovies instead of pasta, as long as they enjoy it. Wich ofcourse MANY of us would disagree with, but if you have ever had fresh anchovies you might understand. Your basicly saying if you dant make pasta your way, you cant eat it. Make it yourself, make it fun. Make it the way you think it will taste best for all who are sharing. If they enjoy it.. GREAT, and if not... re-work the recipe since you designed it anyway.
My point is, its easy to make pasta for yourself and still eat it. Its very hard to make pasta that everyone would eat, plus you wont like it as much as your way. However It will still taste good, and the pay off is you wont be eating alone.
