Looks like it has shut for good now. A new Forum has just launched designed for those willing to become involved. You would be most welcome there: bluecob.com/emasonforumSuch Forums will only survive if supported.

Looks exactly the same as the old Forum. What has changed to make it worth joining this time?

If you bothered to try and understand what the above statement meant you would see that it says 'for the sole purpose...'. This means that we expect Members to get involved as well. Also, if you bothered to join, you would see that there is a section for posting Masonic links INCLUDING Masonic Forums such as this one. As for the 'prior authorisation' statement this relates to websites other than Masonic. Please, before criticising, ensure that you firstly know what you are actually criticising (content etc.) and secondly stop being so paranoid.

If you bothered to read my post you would have seen "Now don't take me too serious but it is kinda funny." If you can not take criticism then dont get involved with social networks. And always remember, being paraniod does not mean they are not out to get you. I am sorry I do not have the time to get involved with any more web sites. You may wish to check out the Masonic sites I already run and have done so for about 20 years - always provided FREE of charge with no expectation of anything. It takes a lot of time and effort, I have paid my dues and I feel have an absolute right to criticise. As do you. So get down off the High Horse and relax. If I was not happy with the thread and posts I could stop delete etc. If someone says something to you with a comic edge take it as friendly.

Bro. billmcelligott.
I stand corrected in my error - thank you.
Since joining your Forum I have been criticised. I am only trying to do something that you say you have been doing for over 20 years but from this I get the feeling that you do not like competition.
Quoting a message I received way back in 2010:
It seems that perhaps you should read and undertake the good advice given way back then from an Administrator.
If you do not want me to be part of your Forum then I am happy for you to remove my posts and delete my Membership. I was looking for support, perhaps some help but obviously your Forum is the wrong place to be.

Lets get it absolutely straight.
I have not asked you to do anything at all. I have not thratened or warned you in any way. I have been polite and respectful.
Competition is here and has been for many years. So that is a non starter.
It is a question of respect which should always go both ways. It would have been polite if you had just asked someone 'I would like to promote my new forum', before you did so.
You are trying to make me the vilain and it just aint so. Good luck with the forum I sincerly wish you well.

I had a look at that forum just now. There are no posts there at all.
Well, there is one. A huge list of house rules and dos and don't.
Quite funny, really!

Creating and running these Forum is not an easy task. you start with the very best of intentions and some jerk will comae along and call you all the names under the sun.
This forum has been through a number of different periods of popularity and then a slow period. But as long as one person gets something from it then it is worth the effort.
I used to run Quiz nights, for Charity no fee involved, I was half way through this particular night when I had to go to the gents. I was taking a leak and the urinal when I felt this person walk upbehind me.
'How much do you charge' ? 'I only have 10 questions per section' ? 'You are taking too long repeating the questions' ?
I explained that if the quiz was not up to your standards or you plain just did not like it as the other 150 guests obviously did. Please do be careful not to let the door hit you in the A** on the way out.
Its the same with forum , no one makes you take part. And without people that want to take part there is nothing much to do, in short its all your fault if it goes slow.

Would you be willing to start a thread of this quiz? Im interested now HAHA I also agree with your comments, as seen with my own forum. Any recent post is my own, and I have not been trying to make new members. I still get anywhere from 4 to 20 visitors a day, but no new or even old members for that matter. I don't blame the old members as I know the only two that were active became very busy in other aspects of their lives. I even did myself for a while when my expectations of the site weren't met, seeking other aspects producing better results in life. I still keep up on posts from my theories on my site, as I started it for a place for my theories landmarks while it grew with people on here and other sites. One site had been shut down, and another got hacked or something but all its data was lost. It became near impossible to find previous references, so I figured just start my own to have it saved. Its always open to new members, but not many aspects that aren't covered in these threads and we already have a place for these discussions HAHA
