Goodday. I've been looking around for a Freemasonry forum where the presence of a co-Mason does not immediately cause allergic reactions. Let us see how I far on this board!
I have quite some history in the study of many different subjects, including Freemasonry, but I only joined in spring 2014 myself. I opted for a co-Masonic lodge because that was the best option in the situation (my girlfriend wanted too). We joined a very small lodge, not Le Droit Humain by the way, so it seems there will be a steep learning curve.

Hi Roy, A few years ago this would have been the place. The majority of posters here were Co-masons from various organisations and countries around the world but then they seem to have all had a big disagreement and left. Maybe you can encourage them to come back

The history of co-Masonry seems to be troubled with split-offs with harsch words. On some 'investigation' website I recently ran into correspondence between my order when it split-off Le Droit Humain. These correspondence contained references to certain illnesses...
50 Years later we're on very good terms with LDH though and current members don't even remember what was the reason of the split-off. All the better of course.
