Leo has asked why theres not many posts, I should think everyone is recovering from the Christmas/new Year festivities, so I thought I would bring out this old favorite what has everyone got line up this year?
For myself, I am Eminent preceptor in KT and will be Installed as Eminent preceptor in another KT later on in the year so I have quite a lot to look forward to, I have also got a few other interesting offices to carry out this year so I will be quite busy.
So please post what you are going to be doing and what you are looking forward to, it will be good to see what everyone is up to.
Happy new year BTW!

For me another year as Organist in the Craft, a passive member of the 18th Rose Croix and Most Excellant Prince in the Holy Royal Arch an Office I have served before and must confess to it being one of my Favourites.
Looking forward to the year - Freemasonry is such fun.

MP, I'm glad to hear you'll be so busy with KT this year. Busy but, from the sounds of it, happy. Congratulations ;D And Happy New Year to you, too I'm still recovering from the holidays. That and I'm still an EA, so not in my right mind (anymore) to begin with In any case, I've had time only for fly-bys and I've got a stack of email I want/need to answer. Elsewhere this year: I'm still training in my new job and the training has the feel of my Masonry (I'll be something of a journeyman about the time I'm to be passed, something of a master about the time I'm to be raised). And, Masonically, It's looking like I'll be passed in February (unless a way to put it off occurs to me), raised in the later summer/early fall. I really can't get my mind much past that. So that seems to be my 2007.

Tomorrow is the Order's New Year's Celebration, where our GM will offer the Light to the WMs and open the Masonic year. Should be a big night, with 650 brethren in attendance. In March is my Third (yay!). In July the family heads to San Francisco for three months. I hope to visit a lodge or two there, but it is the dark (foggy) season, so we'll see. I am going to make contact to some forumites, though (possibly Karen?). From SF we fly to Dublin, and will be staying there for 9 months. In that period I'll just attend Craft lodge from the sidelines -- and looking forward to it. I am also involved in a project for masonic education that should prove interesting, but it's still very early days. .... aaaand possibly a little side-order sometime near the end of the year, but I'm still finalising that.

Actually a quiet year masonically for me
Just out of the Chair in Craft so now relaxing and enjoying visiting - it occurred to me last night how much I had been closely observing the brethren in the same office I was holding or the next one over the last few years, seeing what I could learn from them and missing the bigger picture. Last night I was able to sit back and enjoy a very well delivered 2nd degree ceremony in its entirety
In Chapter, it will be another year as Treasurer. I tried to escape to start progfressing again but, as is often the case, couldn't find a mug (sorry - volunteer) to take over. That said, a well respected Companion said that he would relieve me next year so hopefully my path in that order will recommence in March 2008.
Should be fairly busy years in both Mark and Royal Ark Mariners as we have at least 2 candidates for Mark (which will cover 2 out of the 3 non-installation meetings) and at least 6 candidates for Mariners - so looks like double elevations plus an emergency meeting to get them all in!
Finally, in Rose Croix, trying to work out just what went on when I was perfected last month - visiting a friends Rose Croix Chapter on Monday to see the ceremony for the first time!

I have a lot to look forward to, this year.
I'll be assisting a sister Lodge with an Iniation late in January, after which I will begin my FC studies in earnest. I reckon my Raising will be sometime towards the Summer; I am in no rush to get there, though.
I am cautiously optimistic about a number of membership queries we've received; all things going well we'll see a couple of Initiations into our Lodge, this year, which is very promising indeed.
I'm also very much getting stuck into the administrative side of the Craft, both at Lodge level (assistant-secretary and loving it) and Federation level. I must be an absolute nutter, but I thoroughly enjoy the administrative aspect -- there is much to be learnt from it, actually.
In May we have our International Convention in Paris, which will be a brilliant opportunity to meet Brn:. from all over the World. On the final day there will be a Lodge meeting where a number of candidates from various countries will be Initiated, and I'm really looking forward to witnessing that.
All things considering an exciting year!
HGW,
Cora

I would like to thank everyone for their responses...so far! Its really wonderful to see so much activity progressing in all our orders!
Whistler could you excuse my ignorance but what does Most Excellant Prince in the Holy Royal Arch do? It is an office I am completey unfamiliar with! (would it be MEZ in UGLE?)
Please keep the replies coming it is really interesting to see how things are progressing with all our members.

It is exactly the same as MEZ - and is the senior of the three Principals - whom represent the same figures as in Malecraft

Good luck, Bro:. William (and others, whom I know to be made an FC around that time).
Whatever you may be told, don't for one moment believe that your Passing is going to be less impressive or even less important (Heavens forbid) than your Initiation ... this is where your work starts in earnest, and boy will you know it*G*. Well, I do, anyway.
