Thank you Invictus. Are you aware of an American Co-Masonic or feminine jurisdiction that offers this Rite?
I'm also deeply interested in becoming a Martinist.

I'm very interested in the Rectified Scottish Rite or the Rite of Strict Observance. It seems finding a lodge of either that accepts women as members is as easy as swimming in the sand. Doesn't mean I've given up, but I haven't gotten any closer.
The Swedish Rite also seems to have what I need spiritually. Moving to Scandinavia however is out of the question.
Any help?

I've been reading up on the Rectified Scottish Rite. It seems just what I'm looking for. I'm a bit confused however. Some sources state that the Rectified Scottish Rite is included in Martinist Orders and others state it's under Masonic jurisdictions. Which is correct?
Is it offered to women in the USA?
Blessings and appreciation in advance.

This is what has me so interested. I suspect Martinism to be the next step in my Esoteric Christian path. I'm a Rosicrucian and I see Martinism as another half to the whole.

I'm a Communist myself, though I don't consider myself a Marxist. I tend to draw influence from the early Christian Communists who inspired Marx. Such as François-Noël Babeuf and his Conspiracy of Equals.
I consider that to have been a true wonder. The Icarian movement also is very inspiring to me on both a spiritual and humanitarian level.

What would be helpful would be a "roadmap"of sorts. I mean so many orders and schisms. It's all very confusing. Does someone have a list of the viable organizations?

Thank you Middlepillar , I'm just the kind of person who likes to be upfront about everything right off the bat. I've found some dissapointment in other esoteric systems who weren't as upfront as I.
Thanks for the reply and may your day be blessed.

I'm McKenna. I'm 22, a Reformed Catholic Youth Minister, Rosicrucian and theological student. I'm very active in LGBT ministry. Consider me very interested in the esoteric Christian theurgical path. I've been an active Rosicrucian for two years and I study and practice Christian Kabbalah.
Martinism appears to be what I'm looking for. I have a couple of questions.
First of all, I'm a woman, is that an issue? Secondly, I'm a Lesbian. Third, I live in the SF Bay Area but I travel a lot based upon my outreach work. Is there a Martinist order for me?
Any help would be appreciated.
Blessings, McKenna
