I have just returned form a meeting of Regency lodge and a lecture on Widom Strength and beauty about the threee pillars and their meanings.
The brothether who delivered this lecture composed it himself and he is going to e mail me a copy.
I will forward it on to any person who wishes to read it.
I thought it was a superb article.
What lectures have you seen in lodge ?

from the lecture i saw tonight proves that there is more to the esoterical side of the craft than first meets the eye. Numbers ,triads and symbolism are alive in the craft and if we only open our eyes they are there for us to see

Lee
I'm glad you had an interesting lecture, the last one I attended was the Logistics of Building KST, which was extremely interesting.
I have been to a couple on Rudyard Kipling as well.
A good lecture certainly can add to an evenings enjoyment.

I've been to several lectures/yearly symposiums in Fife over the years where speakers have been Chris Knight, Andrew Prescott, Mathew Scanlan, Neville Cryer( what a character), Tim Wallace Murphy, Jan Snoek ,and several others. It wasn't held last year but it is a great weekend for those interested in all aspects of Freemasonry. Anyone can go not just members of the craft. If it is held this year again I'll post the details if and when I get them.

One of the most entertaining lecturers I've witnessed is W Bro Yasha Bereseiner - anyone who has visited the Pietre-stones site can see what a prolific output this man has. He also operates a guided walk in London that is advertised in the Square and FMT

Bod you'r right there. I remember listening to him speak on freemasonry at Braintree in Essex one evening a few years ago. He certainly is a fantastic speaker and enjoyable to listen to.
