This was a French Lodge started in 1843 but only lasted a couple of years.. Does anybody know, from which French Grand Lodge did is come from. Did it successfully root anywhere in the Pacific.

It was the GOdF. There were a number of recorded French masonic events in the Antipodes and in Oz prior and post 1843. In 1840 there was a lodge meeting and initiation on board a french ship in Akaroa harbour near Christchurch, NZ and an even earlier meeting of the same type in Hobart (?- but somewhere in Tasmania) harbour.
However, French style Freemasonry never flourished in the British Pacific. I have no idea re the French posessions like New Caladonia.
