Uploading your photos to ImageShack is very simply. All you have to do is:
go to
www.imageshack.us ,
select "browse",
find the photo that you want to upload,
highlight it,
and press Okay/Open
Finally, click "Host it!"
Make sure that none of your images are too big. Images greater than 1024kb will not upload. To find out your image's size, please right-click on the icon of your picture and select "properties". There, you will be able to see the size of the image in kilobytes. Most images, however, are much smaller than the 1024kb size limit.
Also make sure that your image is of the allowable filetypes, which are .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .gif, and the .swf flash file. ImageShack also accepts bmp, tif, and tiff filetypes.
After this, you will see an upload-done page.
Please select the image code that is surrounded in
tags,
Highlight the text by clicking on it,
press CTRL+C or COPY,
Go to your message board,
create a new post or reply,
Select the box where you type in your posting message,
and press CTRL+V.
If you are trying to hotlink on a message board, use the message board tags (
[/IMG]. If you are trying to hotlink to a website or ebay auction, make sure to use the HTML code that is provided for you (<img src="" />
Afterwards, you can submit your message board post. However, you can put as many images as you want into a single post. You can also upload as many images as you want. In order to speed up the process, I recommend registering at
reg.imageshack.us/register.php Registration will allow you to upload multiple images at the same time via ZIP upload or by using the Microsoft Publishing Wizard
