Greetings, Brethren... Myself and four other Fratres (Brethren) of the John Dee College of the SRIA are getting away from it all on a visit to Rosslyn Chapel near Edinburgh for the weekend of the 12/13 January. Now, if at all possible, we have the urge to visit a local-ish Lodge on the Friday night, the 12th. It is short notice, I admit, but can any Scottish Brother point us toward any Lodge that may be meeting that night in the Edinburgh/Fife area? Our hotel is near Dunfermline, so any lodge within sensible driving distance is ok. Ok - we may be English, but we are all Regular UGLE Master Masons (you have to be such to be in the SRIA), happy to be proved, happy to pay our way; we say 'please' and 'thank you' in all the right places; are potty-trained; never brawl in lodge, etc etc! Its a long shot, but can anybody help? Fraternally, Colin Frankland, VII Celebrant [WM, really], John Dee College, SRIA www.johndeecollege.org.uk

Hi Colin, 2 Lodges are sitting in Edinburgh that evening, Lodge St James Operative Lodge No 97, sits in the Chapel of St John, 23 John St. Edinburgh at 7.00pm.
Lodge Dunedin Caritas No 1316 which sits in the masonic hall 11-23 morningside Drive Edinburgh at 7.15pm.
If you contact our Grand Lodge on 0131 225 5304 or gladim@grandlodgescotland.org they should be able to give you the secretaries details.
There are no lodges sitting in Dunfermline that night but GLoS may be able to give you details of any close by.
If you need any other assistance just PM me and I see what I can do
