Leaving in a few minutes, three hours north, help set up lodge and . . .
I'll be examined today for my proficiency in the Second Degree. If I do well, and my BB vote favorably, then the date of my raising will be set.

I did good. Stumbled in a few places but got everything where it needed to be. ;D Oddly, though, I feel like I've been hit by a truck - or worked in a quarry all day It's not 8 p.m. yet but I'm off to bed. Thank you, everyone, for wishing me well. It means a great deal to me

Hearty congratulations Bro. Karen,
I doubt there have been many candidates as proficient as I imagine were you, from your demonstrated interest, insight and study. I look forward to hearing of a date set for your raising.

Glad to hear that it did indeed go well Karen - though I had no doubt that you would do anything but put on a good show
I just wish more EAs and FCs would show your enhusiasm and commitment

Not yet. I'm not expecting a date any time soon, as it's been decided I'll be raised at HQ. The summer conference is next month. I won't be attending but I know folks are very busy with that. I imagine I'll hear about a date some time after that

Congrads from me too! I had no doubt you would do well. Let me know how your raising goes. It was personally my favorite of the three. (However the first day as an EA is pretty amazing too!) Good Luck
