Always liking vigorous debate I often wonder at the effect we have on outsiders

Difficult one - if nothing else it would make me realise that freemasonry as an organisation is subject to the hot and cold desires of man the same as any other organisation. However, I don't know if I would know enough from the outside to appreciate that freemasonry is about soooooooo much more than its organising bodies......

I voted no.
If I was an outsider I would have assumed that Masons were much brotherly than this thread would indicate.

It would show me that Freemasons are HUMAN and have the same Loves and Hates, Desires and Fears, Strengths and Weaknesses as the rest of us and are NOT Supermen nor Plaster Saints. I vote that it would make no difference to the impression I had preconceived of the Institution, founded in my case on my studies.

At this point in life I've learned to look behind the words themselves and try to consider without undue influence by any particular perspective. I voted that it would make no difference.

Seeing both sides of any issue is important. Truth usually is found between the two opposing sides.

This candidate just can't get to the point. ... tone of conversation can vastly improve your chances of making a favorable impression.
