As 2005 approaches I would like to wish you all a happy, peaceful, prosperous and joyful New Year.
Take time at midnight to remember the past, and to look forward to the future - it is all we have.

I would too like to wish everybody a happy new year and would also like to thank those who have enabled 2004 to be atruly enlightening one for me personally and thank all the forum members for all thier help and co operation.
As the clock strikes 12 i will reflect on this year but let us all spare a thought too for absent brethren and also for those poor souls who are victims of the earthquake/tidal wave and their friends ,family and loved ones.

This was sent to me from a friend in the US. I think it sums up what many of us would wish for those we care for.
"Happy New Year!
Where in the world did this year go It seems it passed so fast But here we are...2005 And 2004 is in the past!
A Toast
May peace and love fill the earth May past sorrows fade away May the New Year bring joy to all On each and every day.
Happy New Year to everyone I hope your dreams come true A heart that's filled with happiness Is the wish I wish for you!"

Thankyou for your greetings on an other topic Taylorman and a happy New Year to you. Even though 2004 was personally a good year for me and mine many out there have not feared so well. I was born 31.12.53 to Dutch parents in Indonesia and on the date of my birthday this year I felt thankful that we no longer lived there. I know its only platitudes, but my heart is heavy when I view those who reside there and their present plight. May 20005 bring them renewed hope and health.

Yes Yoki, I too pray for the injured, the survivors, the orphans and for those who have to sort it all out. I do NOT pray for the Dead as I feel that is a futile act as in my beliefs we all have to answer for our actions in this life and will be judged as Individuals for the Good or Ill we have done. Accordingly I cannot in any way mitigate whatever may be given in Judgement on the soul of one who is dead. I only hope that a merciful God will deal compassionately with those who have died.
My main feelings are for the living, those who grieve, the injured in body and mind.

Yoki, happy birthday. I too am a Capricorn and my birthday is next week Happy Birthday Yoki. Lee, my wife's birthday next week as well On a more serious note. My heart and prayers go out to all who've suffered, are suffering as a result of tsonamis. At time like this words seem somehow inadequate.
