So, Br. Carter;
I asked you to show me where I attacked Br. Cofield personally, and you couldn't. You just posted a bunch of comments that had nothing to do with Brad. Above, I show two instances of your personal attacks directed at me, implying, it seems, that I should be forcefully restrained from my personal opinions which you do not agree with. This is pretty typical stuff from you. Bro. Theron,Is this your response to my request for showing where, as you allege, I had personally attacked you? Readers should bear in mind that I was quoting from Bro. Theron's Blog, in response to the following, unsettling post: hahaha, I am goading? You guys are supposed to be brothers... its okay to goad me with gratuitous attacks, but when I am proven RIGHT, suddenly I am goading? No, I was right, and I made my point that I have been proven right... and I guess to someone who is so angry at my posts, being proven right might be a tad bit irritating.
Sorry about being proven right, brothers
I would have thought you might have something to say about my being proven right, instead, I get talked about as if I were a child...
but I guess that might be a bit too much to expect... At first I left others to draw what associations they may and only directed the earlier quote at what Bro. Theron had posted, NOT at him as a person, after he had applied the quote personally to Bro. Brad. I will leave it up to each reader to decide whether or not I have satified Bro. Theron's request that I show where he has been personal with Bro. Brad. I am still waiting for him to return the courtesy with respect to showing where, as he alleges, I had personally attacked him.

Not Brad at all. While I differ in opinion with Brad in several areas, I believe he can blog anything he likes. Blogs are highly subjective, and when done a person opens themselves up for criticism and the likes. Posts like this.... So, Br. Carter; I asked you to show me where I attacked Br. Cofield personally, and you couldn't. You just posted a bunch of comments that had nothing to do with Brad. Above, I show two instances of your personal attacks directed at me, implying, it seems, that I should be forcefully restrained from my personal opinions which you do not agree with. This is pretty typical stuff from you. and this Its not the amount of posts , its the content, I believe vt was referring to. I have already asked Bro. Theron to show where I have personally attacked him, as he alleges. I had, after all, done little more than comply with his request:- Really? Pray show me where I have been personal with Brad... These are the types of posts that just make me scratch my head. It's almost like two old Eastern Star ladies squabbling over bingo.

Bro. Errol,
Do you suggest that I ought not have complied with Bro. Theron's request?

Bro. Errol,Do you suggest that I ought not have complied with Bro. Theron's request? I suggest that one of you might have cowboyed up and dropped it. That would have been the end of it.

"cowboyed up" Please explain. "Act like a man." "Step up to the plate." Or, as we said in the Army, "Suck it up." Strewth! Are you fair dinkum? I have since found this explanation: Cowboy up. In short it means, doing the job no mater what. On a ranch it might be a dad telling his son or daughter to get back on a horse after they have fallen off. At a good dance it might mean getting the nerve to ask someone to dance, or an invitation to fight, or both. I suggest, in this case, I have proceeded to get the job done or, as you put it ("explaining" one idiom with others), acted like a man, stepped up to the plate and sucked it up, doing what was a necessary but distasteful task (I think I know what you mean in each of these instances).

I'm going to have to teach you English people the American language. Cowboy up, or Pony up, just means to do what you need to do to get the job done, but without sacrificing principles, or degrading another persons character or for that matter even "confessing their sins in the process" It's about taking responsibility for oneself without concentrating on another's negative behaviors, but rather focusing on their strengths. I have cowboy up printed on the steering wheel of my truck, on my laptop and in my office at work. It is way easier to preach than to do. I work on it every day

The compass needle points toward the NORTHERN pole. That's why you Aussies are on the BOTTOM of the map. ;D

www.answers.com/topic/antediluvianNothing to do with the other half of the Globe unless I am much mistaken. Indeed in the Ritual of the Royal Ark Mariner Degree this term is used referring to the times before the Flood. Also Bro Tamrin (Philip Carter) is NOT ENGLISH. He's an Aussie.

I've always understood it to refer to pre-flood times as well.

Also Bro Tamrin (Philip Carter) is NOT ENGLISH. He's an Aussie. I was actually kidding. I find it funny when all Americans are lumped together. A Vermonter and a New Yorker, and a guy from New Mexico might as well be from different planets
