A bit patronising I feel, and somewhat ironic given events on the World Stage. I read that General Westmorland once said that part of the reason for the eventual defeat of his Forces in Vietnam was a failure to gain the Hearts and Minds of the civilian populace and it seems that things have not changed.
On the specifics of the matter, a new MM can be advised and guided but I can't say I care for the analogy of restraining them as if they are sick. Doesn't "Square" with Freemasonry as I know it.

Perhaps another difference between English English and its American usage?
You asked for opinions as you always do. I read the posting on the Blog and was critical of it. I'm not "Mirror, mirror on the wall" I say what I feel.

Does this mean Bro. Peterson has altered his views on women Freemasons? Providing I am on about the same person

I found it to be quite a good article, and certainly represented some of the feelings I had as a new MM and of being a 'new' mason generally. Quite often masons who are new to the diversity of practice represented on the internet struggle with it as it jars completely with their point of reference. A practicle demonstration of working on one's ashlar I guess
