Freemasonry, secret? In any case, it will reveal itself (a little!) as it does every two years, at the sixth Masonic Salon of Toulouse on Saturday, November 30 and Sunday, December 1, at Espace Vanel of the Media Library.
This event is organized by the Toulouse Institute of Masonic Studies: "The Institute has been in existence since 1987 and brings together members from fourteen local authorities in the Toulouse region," explains President Daniel Chartagnac. It organizes conferences, artistic and cultural exhibitions, and days of collective reflection. It also publishes books, such as the recent Freemasonry in Gascony by Alain Pécastaing.
During the two days, which are free admission, the public will be able to attend conferences, especially with the great masters of different national orders, book-signing sessions with writers like Jacques Ravenne, author with Eric Giacometti of Masonic thrillers, and exhibitions of art objects and symbolic jewels. "For the Freemasons of Toulouse this is the opportunity for a revelation, through the themes of history, culture, philosophical reflection or art," says Daniel Chartagnac. This year, there are also planned theatrical or musical interludes between major debates. The list of themes this year includes the legacy of Vanini, (400 years after his execution at the stake in the Place du Salin)...

ky: We are establishing a new lodge and are in need of some items. Where is a good place to find such items that doesn't break the bank?

jasonmark: Hello. My name is Jason. I am not yet a Freemason but am being initiated on 7th October of this year and I want to learn a little more (as far as that is permitted) about what I am joining. I hope it is ok for me to join at this point. My apologies if not.
