How would a lodge that oversees a smaller lodge react to being provided proof that the worshipful master and his son whonacts as a senior steward are both abusive to the ex spouse ( not legally separated though) and the mother? As in- videos of the son smashing things in motjers house intentionally, texts between father and son calling the mother a B** and a C** and F** that B since the son was @12 years old to 15.. and texts from son to mother saying Kill yourself, F** Y** , you C.. ( last week even). Both present well. Only my videos, pictures of aftermath, texts, and a psych evaluation of son being " exploitive and explosive " show otherwise. At the very least, son should not be serving in any role- and maybe be mentored by someone other than his father. Thoughts? The " ex" Again presents as calm and rationale, yet makes sure to tell me that he's bought a gun for : hunting" and in another text, made sure to say " I can't wait for you to see my skill set" after I mentioned that our son should be going to therapy.

If what is stated is so, the documentation needs to be copied to both the master of the lodge and to the grand lodge for action. Both are violating many points in their masonic obligations. The biggest is they are violating their oath in the first degree. Likely they would be expelled and blackballed across the country from entering or joining in with any masonic activity or meeting. But, since no legal action can be made from them, this all needs to be turned over to the legal authorities in the county where it is occurring and formal charges pressed as well as restraining orders obtained through the courts. The son is underage and needs to have the parental rights of the father revoked as the father is presenting a bad example... hopefully that bad example can be a good one in that he sees and feels how wrong it is.

the ex is the master of the lodge... but I did see that our state has a lodge that oversees his- so send it there? The son is not underage now, hence he was able to join the masons. the conversations that I referred to started when he was young, and have continued in that tone throughout being a mason. I am hoping that my son can receive better guidance, although , like his father, will make up some sort of rationale for his behavior, or deny it outright. The father believes that he has all sorts of special powers and protection now that he is "worshipful master." Just kind of wondering if the organization says they believe one thing, and then it's a bit of a wink wink nudge nudge... the woman who is complaining is " crazy." I have no intention of involving any legal authorities. I just can't stand hyprocrisy, and I certainly would like perhaps for my son to learn that others can see what he isi doing, and it isn't too late to change.

and what does " violating their oath to the 1st degree" mean? I do believe I could construct a stronger letter using masonic language.

Yes, there is always a grand lodge or a central headquarters so to speak. that is where your letter should go. what I meant in violating their oath is that we are sworn to treat others fairly and equally (paraphrased in a nutshell) that is, all Humans. Just phrase your letter in your mother language and as concisely as you can. Direct them to the court proceedings which have taken place. (that is your proof) and let them know. If what you are telling us is true. Not only do YOU need assistance getting through this and some separation and closure on the matter, but they do to so that all can heal and become better persons. If you have not yet got the local authorities involved, you need to do that ASAP even if it s just to have restraining orders issued... but then all of this, I'm just repeating myself and I feel you want someone to do the work for you. Nobody can do this for you. You must pull yourself up by the bootstraps and either take action or not as your will dictates. I know a lot of people put up with abuse for years and never do anything of it. That is their prerogative.
