And: "In 1931 in the N.W. Kimberley's, Prof. A. P. Elkin, Professor of Anthropology at Sydney University came upon a tribe of Aborigines who had not met a white man before. The professor was astounded when tribal elders greeted him with Ancient Secret masonic hand signs. He was struck by the startling semitic features present in the natives." www.crystalinks.com/egyptaustralia.htmlThis is probably the best book on the initiatory practices of aborigines. www.amazon.com/Aboriginal-Men-High-Degree-Initiation/dp/0892814217Did Freemasonry come to Australia with the ancient Egyptians?

I took time to research various topics..here are some thoughts I put together Hiram of Tyre was an initiate of the dionysian mysteries. He perpetuated the mysteries by inserting his name, in order to re-brand, or refresh old knowledge ( one can see this as a positive or negative- good intentions) Operative Masons preserved the practical knowledge of Huram Abi, which is what people hear about today. It was smart yet unfortunate that Operative Masons didn't write everything down, knowledge was passed down to the next generation through oral communication, and practical means.
Thanks Peter2 Great information I'm still studying Sir George Grey and the Maori language

"Melqart (Phoenician: 𐤌𐤋𐤊𐤒𐤓𐤕, lit. Melek-qart, "King of the City";[1][2] Akkadian: Milqartu) was the tutelary god of the Phoenician city of Tyre. Melqart was often titled Ba‘l Ṣūr, "Lord of Tyre", and considered to be the ancestor of the Tyrian royal family.[citation needed] In Greek, by interpretatio graeca he was identified with Heracles and referred to as the Tyrian Herakles." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MelqartYou may notice that Herakles is another HR name like Heru (Horus), Hera, Hiram and Hermes. These seem to be titles rather than personal names
